Internet Marketing Tips- Be Different & Stand Out!

Unfortunately the Internet Marketing industry can be brutal at times.

Trying to establish yourself as a leader, expert and authority in your niche is no easy task.

Here are a few Internet Marketing Tips that have helped me along my journey.

Internet Marketing Tips

1.) Be different than your competition.  You need some sort of advantage if you want to stand out from the sea of competition out there.  Master a strategy that no one does better than you, whether that be SEO, Social Media Marketing, PPC, Blogging, Product Creation etc.  In addition to this, make sure you present your skills in a different manner than anyone else.  You must be unique, you must be original and you must keep things fresh.

2.) Always be learning (Read/Research/Absorb). This is actually the most important tip in my opinion, read my post here. If you haven’t implemented reading into your daily routine, I highly recommended you do.  I read at least 30 minutes to an hour per day on subjects like Business, Self-Development, Entrepreneurship, Personal Finance, Spirituality…anything that helps expand the mind and allows me to grow.  There is an immense amount of information out there, start tapping into it.  If you need book recommendations, shoot me a message.

3.) Adopt & Adapt. Make sure you have enough courage to actually go out and implement different Internet Marketing strategies.  Do NOT just learn all of this useful information and sit on the sidelines.  Get out there and get your feet wet and expect to fail.  Failing will be your greatest teacher, trust me on that.  Take notes, document small successes, build upon what is working and learn from what isn’t working.

4.) Have A Relentless Mindset. The Internet Marketing industry has a failure rate of around 97% (sorry to put a damper on things).  If you do not adopt a relentless mindset or something similar, you will most likely fail.  In order to to overcome the ridiculous amounts of hurdles you will face when running an online business, you need to think differently than most.  When others are out partying on the weekends, you need to be mastering your craft, reading or implementing a new marketing strategy.  When everyone is staying comfortable in their daily lives, you need to push outside your comfort zone to force yourself to grow.  Be persistent, stay focused, and be relentless in your work ethic.
